Ms. Kajal Kapadia Jain, Director, Gallery Maya Pvt Ltd is an MBA in marketing from the S P Jain Institute of Management ( Batch of 1993) . Ms Jain has had an excellent academic track record - having been a Dorab Tata Scholar for five years.

Post her MBA Ms. Jain was amongst the five people selected for the Tata Administrative Services (TAS) across India. As a part of her TAS assignments she worked with companies including Titan and Indian Hotels (Taj Group of Hotels).

She then joined Lakme (formerly a Tata Group company) on the brand management side. Apart from handling the flagship colour cosmetics category and skin care, she was responsible for the conceptualization and launch of their highly successful brand "Elle 18".

In 1997, she then moved as Marketing Manager in the international cosmetic Company L'Oreal where she was responsible for hair care , hair colour and skin care products.

An avid art collector for over a decade, in mid -2000, Ms. Jain decided to plunge into art herself.

She started her Art advisory and subsequently her own boutique gallery. She works by consultation spending time personally to understand the clients requirements before helping them build a collection. Several people have started with single works with her and built their collection through her over the years. The advantage with Ms. Jain is that her understanding and working with both the contemporary artistes as well as the old masters of Indian art allows for a wider choice .

Her clients include some of India's largest Corporate houses and top executives from firms such as McKinsey, Google, Accenture, UBS, Coca Cola, Citibank etc and a vast database of NRI's. There are some pf the largest collectors from Europe and the US who come to her for buying Indian Art.

She has an excellent rapport with almost all of India's top artists which include Ram Kumar, Raza , Jogen Chowdhary, Laxman Shreshta, Chitravanu Majumdar, Baiju Parthan, etc

Apart from having works of senior artists such as Ram Kumar, Akbar Padamsee, Ganesh Pyne, Jogen Chowdhary, Paritosh Sen, Suhas Roy she has a body of works of younger contemporary artists such as Baiju Parthan, Jitish Kallat, Chitravanu Mazumdar, Manish Pushkale, Bharti Prajapati, Dileep Sharma, Farhad
